Bughouse on giant boards
Bughouse on giant boards is one of the main attractions of the Geneva gathering,
probably the most fun for the spectators, but also for the players. The
bad weather almost deprived us of it, but fortunately the rain stopped
on the Monday and we were able to play after emptying the plastic pieces.
Played with 7 minutes on the clock instead of 3, giant bughouse stills
favors very much the fast runners; Marv and nabla proved to be the most
succesful team.
As this was not enough, we also had a session of simul giant bughouse,
MiRU (god he is fast!) being the only one to beat nabla - who had
been training physically since monthes for this event :-)
The boards soon found other lovers after we left them. These one are
going on playing with a white square to their left.
